Okay, That's It...
Sorry for any inconvenience, but I'm turning on Word Verification for my comments... hopefully that will control some of my spam comments. I had to delete a comment linking to porn, and I'd prefer that such links not be on my blog.
Along similar lines, if you haven't already, please take note of the new "Flag" option, and flag any and all spam blogs you come across. I'm getting sick of them.
Be blessed!

I had just had to comment to do the word veritication, it's so cool! Haha! I am glad you are tackling spam! Woohoo!
P.S. my word verification thing was "losfu" haha! What does that ever mean? :)
I'd turn it on for mine but I rarely get any comments as it is, so I'd prefer not to discourage potential spammers.
Oh! And here I was all upset about that flag and hating Google for it - yet you have come up with a GOOD way to use it. I hadn't even thought of that.
Yeah, I had to turn mine on a few days ago, too. I got onto my blog and saw ten new comments that were just garbage, linking to the-devil-knows what. Never click on a link that looks suspicious, cause as you said, it could be porn.
I think you can try making the "preview" button mandatory, before they hit "post." That may solve the problem.
Hi oldfashionedwhippersnapper. Enjoyed a look around, had a link to you today for PETA Kills Animals.
Best Regards,
Robert
Hey, Neo, were you affected by Katrina? Hope not...
I haven't heard of any severe damage to Georgia, and any at all to North Georgia. Is there something I missed?
I just heard that they had gas supply problems
Wouldn't a "Spaminator" be one "who spaminates" or "one who spams"?
... Just wondering.
That's Mandy, the genius!
BTW- these word verification things are never real words!! What a lie!!
:)
Well, I don't know where Rome is in Georgia...
rYo Neo,
I'm sorry that you had to put up with all that terrible junk!! I just wanted to let you know that, I, too have a blog!!
TTYL,
Nicole
It's no inconvenience! I received a comment linking to porn as well which has led me to the same thing. I'll tell you what is inconvenient: having to go through a delete all of these worthless advertisements. Keep up the good work!
Hey Neo,
I know how it is with spam. Not nice.
Say, you may want to update your catch-all . . . oops . . . I mean sidebar (j/k) because:
My blog name has been changed to In Rejection of Mediocrity,
Eric's blog has changed URLS and his description is no longer "Anyone up for a game of chess",
I have created a new blog to help refugees from Katrina and Rita reconnect with their friends who are scattered across the USA,
You may want to link to Agent Tim, since he was on a nationwide radio show a few days ago and doing so might influence him to link to you,
And finally, Eric and I have been arguing for a while with Toady on our somewhat new/somewhat been-around-for-a-while blog, The Truth About Macroevolution.
In Him,
D3
Shouldn't it be "Despaminiator"? :} Your blog is neat!
I don't mind it. It's not an inconveinience.
