It's been a long road for me... long ago, I was known on the internet as "NeoFascist?," a stereotypical republican homeschooled blogger. Wasn't it a GREAT film? Ah man, I cried so much while I was watching it! And I love the fact that the Japanese wardens aren't portrayed as heartless monsters, but as regular people who were stuck in the middle of a war.
The acting was also incredible. It bugs me to no end that this film was hardly acknowledged at all by the press! Such a great moving film! *sniffs*
I bought it by the way. It was uber cheap at Walmart, less than 12$! I wasn't sure whether I was happy that it was cheap, or sad that it wasn't popular enough to stay at regular price. :-/
