I'll Be Back...
Just so no one is left in the dark, I thought I'd let you all know that I will have no internet access for the next few days (I'll be at my grandparents' house). Things have been crazy lately so it's been hard to blog, but soon things will be back to normal (hopefully).
Until I get back, I encourage you to check out Stephen Lewis's new blog, The Mouth of Iron, and as always, you should go read Standing Up for Nothing as well.
Finally, tell me what you think about the situation with the girl in Texas (Grizzly Mama has posted about it).
I'm out!

The same thing has happened to me as well. My parents were in Pittsburgh applying for a kidney transplant, and I had to go to our grandparents' house while they were gone. They have dial-up internet access, so it's pretty near impossible to go on the internet at their house for as long as I would like to.
Good heavens Gabriel. I hope that the liver transplant comes through for them.
There is some new information about the girl in Texas who was seized from her parents due to a disagreement the parents had with the doctors. Apparently information was revealed in a court hearing that the girl's cancer has NOT gone into remission. I'm still not sure that I agree with the state making the decisions over the parents - whether the cancer is in remission or not. It smacks of something unsavory - something big brotherish - something gulag-ish.
LOL! This has GOT to be a joke. I've been arguing with a frigging JOKE! LOL!!!!
Thanks for the link!
Yeah, I totally understand the frustrations of dial-up...I'm using it right now, and it sucks bigtime. I can pretty much open my browser and go have dinner while I wait for it to load. :)
Well, I'd say we've had just about enough...
I've had enough of arguing with Rumpelteazer. It's time to reintroduce some order (as best I can).
First of all, I don't appreciate it when people refer to me by my real name. I hope you will put your hatred aside and respect my online anonymity.
Secondly, this blog was never intended to serve as a battleground for petty teenage vendettas, although you've tried your hardest to make it so. We've indulged you, even humored you a bit, and now it's time to move on.
From now on, I will delete Rumpelteazer's comments if they are off topic(as I did with the comment before MonicaR's "joke" comment). I will allow on-topic comments to stay, but I don't want to take the chance of any more threads being hijacked as a result of her rants.
In other words, she may still comment, but the crap stops here.
I left Monica's comment so that your second comment would make sense. And thanks for the link heads-up.
