Democrats aren't mainstream? 55.4 million Americans beg to differ.
Bush may have cheated, but he probably would have won anyway.
Mainstream does not mean majority. Friends was a mainstream sitcom. But the majority of Americans did not watch it every night.
By your definition, Bush wasn't mainstream until this year. The Democrats are a mainstream party. It's parties like the Greens or the Libertarians who are not.
Also, could you stop using this point (Democrats are not mainstream), as well as the following:
* Why do you traitorous Democrats hate America so much? We're the real Americans, goddammit, not you traitors!
* You know, the problem with you godless heathen Demoncrats is that you think you're better than us.
* How dare you criticize the President! You just want to shut up everyone who disagrees with you, don't you?
* Don't you leftist homophobes dare bring up Mary Cheney's disgusting and shameful sex life again! (I'm watching you, Sullivan, Reynolds, and Buchanan)
* Democrats are trying to force their complete and utter lack of morals upon our Christian Nation!
