TTLB Ecosystem

I'm sure that by now you have seen the link on my page pronouncing that I am a slimy mollusc. If you're the curious type, you have probably clicked on it to see what the heck it was about. If you haven't, or if you just didn't get it, I thought I'd take a little time to explain it.

The "The Truth Laid Bear Ecosystem" is a directory of blogs that ranks blogs by inbound links. Your ranking improves by the number of other blogs that link to you, provided the other blogs are in the Ecosystem. That means that if someone links to you, but they aren't in the Ecosystem, that link won't be counted toward your ranking. I noticed that Laura has already joined the Ecosystem.

Anyway, I just thought it would be a neat way to see how I rank in the blogosphere. If you want to add your blog to the Ecosystem, just click here, and remember that the more inbound links you get, the higher your ranking will be.

Be blessed!
Neo

Neo,

Now, I could be wrong, but you made that poll right? The "describe yourself" one with denominations?

Well, I just want to point out that you should not have put Charismatic next to nonD, because you're making it look like they are naturally linked to each other. They aren't, and I think you of all people would no better than to try and lump together nonD churches. *pokes you*

And I'm nonD, but not Charismatic. Now I have to put other because of you. Thanks a lot Mr. :P

(And if the tone sounds to serious, I'm going to add some smiley faces to lighten it up.) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-)

D2M,

Maybe you're right. I didn't mean to lump them together in that way. I placed them together because someone who is both Non-Denom and Charismatic would have a hard time choosing which to select, as Charismaticism is not a denomination. I probably should have made some sort of a distinction... I guess I was too busy trying to think of different denominations. Sorry about that... Oh, and I liked the smiley faces! :)

Peek-A-Button,

Welcome! I'm glad you like it. I'll pop by over at your blog soon...

Wow, lots of people!

Reliant,

Wow, another vacation? Have fun! I'm sorry I forgot to add Episcopalian; I actually thought about it when I was making the poll, but I somehow forgot to add it. I'm going to re-make the poll.

My Bovine Friend,

Have you heard of Kenneth Hagin, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, or Jesse Duplantis? They are charismatics.

Perhaps you have heard of "Full Gospel," which would be another name for Charismaticism? Charismaticism is not really a denomination, as any denomination can be charismatic, but usually Charismatics choose to be non-Denominational. Vineyard is Charismatic, if you know about that. Charismatics use lively worship and often they place a lot of emphasis on the gifts of the Spirit and God's promises.

Do you have a better idea now, or should I explain it further?

(It's Mandy aka The Cow)

I'm on Laura's computer and it won't let me sign in so I have to post anonymously...

You explained it really well I just have one question: What are the fundamental beliefs of Charismaticists?

Fundamental beliefs... You mean like on salvation and stuff like that? Charismatic (or Full Gospel) Christians believe the same as other Christians those matters. For a good explanation of Charasmatic Christians, go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charismatic . It seems to give a pretty accurate definition.
